Day one – June 13th
Our morning departure finds you on your way to our nation’s capital.  Check into the hotel and prepare for
dinner, which is followed by the Marine Barrack Sunset Parade.

Day two – June 14th
After breakfast, depart with your guide for a full day of touring.  Stop at Arlington Cemetery to see the grounds
via the Tour mobile including the Women in the Military Memorial.  See the Marine Corps War Memorial’s Iwo
Jima Statue.  Visit the White House Visitor’s Center and take photos of the White House from Lafayette
Square.  Lunch is on your own at Union Station.  After lunch our bus travels up Embassy Row and take you by
the magnificent National Cathedral.  You will also see the new Air Force Memorial built on a hillside
overlooking the Pentagon.  A driving tour of Capitol Hill, stop at the National Archives to see the Declaration of
Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights.  Dinner tonight at a fine restaurant on Capitol Hill and have an
evening tour of the illuminated monuments and memorials including FDR, Jefferson and view the city from the
terrace of Kennedy Center and return to your hotel for a restful night.

Day three – June 15th
After breakfast, depart for a more leisurely day at the National Mall.  Spend time at the new World War II,
Vietnam, Lincoln and Korean War Veterans Memorials.  Proceed to the Smithsonian Institution where you will
have lunch on your own and browse through the museums of your choice.  Return to the hotel to freshen up for
dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day four – June 16th
Following breakfast, check out and depart to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum before departing
for home.
